Mr. Jeffrey Deon Harris

Jeffrey Deon Harris “DaDa” 21, of Huntsville, Alabama, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Huntsville, Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. He was born January 13, 1992 in Huntsville, Alabama to Glenda Harris and the late Dennis Bryant “King Dennis”. He was the youngest of their children.
Jeffrey attended the Academy for Academics of Arts, where he was an Academy Star and Clown. He also played for the metro raiders and participated in the Boy Scouts. He later went on to S.R. Butler High where he played high school basketball. His favorite subject in school was math. He was a loving and caring person. He was very outspoken and was always right.
Jeffrey is survived by his mother: Glenda Harris of Huntsville, Alabama; two brothers; Brandon Harris of Sheffield, Alabama and Christopher Harris “Buck” of Huntsville, Alabama; seven sisters; Shanice Harris “Nicey”, Kquianna Harris (Mario Battle) of Huntsville, Alabama. Angela Coppage, Nicole Godsey, Janet Godsey, Kenya and Keenya Clark, all of Chicago, Illinois; special friend: Mercedes Briggs, and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at the Fellowship of Faith (3703 North Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL 35810) with Pastor Troy Garner officiating. Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mr. Harris will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public Viewing will be held from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013; and from 8:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at the Royal Funeral Home.
