A Time To Be Born...
Isabel Loretta Ward was born July 28, 1919 to the John P. and Florence Ward in Nevis, West Indies.

A Time to Live...
During the early 1940’s, Isabel left the British Island of Nevis to join her parents and siblings in Brooklyn, New York.  She matriculated through the New York City School System, graduating from Nursing School as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She worked at the Queens General Hospital in Queens, New York for many years.  After retiring,  Isabel moved to Huntsville, Alabama where she resided until her death.

A Time to Die...
Late Sunday evening, May 20, 2012, Isabel left her earthly home peacefully to join her Jehovah God.

A Time to Mourn...
Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Vivian Jones, Helen Mills, Adelaide Wylie, Florence Wallace, and John V. Ward.

Isabel leaves to cherish her memories: three children, David L. Lake of Huntsville, Alabama, Jeanette Y. (Robert) Frances of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Harvey B. Lake of Laurelton, New York; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Esther Hobson of Long Island, New York, Lillian Johnson of Tamarac, Florida, and Luvene Solus of Atlanta, Georgia; two brothers, Wilmont Ward of Willingboro, New Jersey and Leon Ward of Bristol, Pennsylvania, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her Kingdom Hall sisters and brothers.


Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (Winchester Road, Huntsville, AL).

Viewing hours will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Royal Funeral Home.
